Q: Hi, Im not sure how to put this, so I apoligize if it is confusing. I need a certain area of land, about the size of an olympic swimming pool, for a science project, for 2 to 3 years. I would like to buy or rent this area over water only, is that possible and is it more cost effective than paying for the same area on land?
A: Unless someone, who has ownership of such a ‘parcel’, would make these arrangements with you, I believe it would be easier – in the long run, to find some land with the water area you are looking for, to lease or purchase. Make sure that the zoning board in the community you pick will allow your experiment.
