I have a house that I owe more on then it is worth. THe house will not finance, as it is in disrepair. I am current on my payments. How do I proceed to a short sale when I am current?

Your agent (or broker / manager) will be able to guide you through this. They have experienced many situations with similar transactions in the past. Use the expertise that you are paying for. Ask them for a ‘plan of action’ pertinent to your situation & I am sure they will assist. If mot, the there are ‘specialists’ in this field. Make sure that you get one that is recommended & has a good track record if you go this route/
