[dropcap2]Q[/dropcap2]I live in pico rivera and looking for a house in santa fe springs. One thing i notice about my agent is that on every house we are interested in she wants to put in an offer above the asking price and ask for very little help with closing cost. And the few times the offers were returned with even less closing the seller is willing to help with and she doesn’t negotiate. Now, it this a good strategy? Is the market in the 200k-300k range competitive, making this a good tactic. Please help. I don’t want get snowed!
[dropcap2]A[/dropcap2]I suggest setting up a face to face meeting with your current agent. Go over the ‘ground rules’ for how the buying process will work. Go over what You expect & what she expects. If you can’t come to a ‘meeting of the minds’, then find a different agent. If you don’t have another agent in mind, I could get you a name for a top agent in the area you want.
